Filmtypes used in this Project

The following is a list of instant film types used in this Polaroid Project (or still in the refridgerator until usage).

 
ORIGINAL POLAROID FILM TYPES

Polaroid 600

- Type:
Colour Integral Film, High-speed, medium-contrast film
- Film Speed: ISO 640/DIN 2
- Format: 3.5 × 4.2 in. (8.8 × 10.7 cm)
- Image Area: 3.1 × 3.1 in. (7.9 × 7.9 cm)
- Finish: Glossy
- Exposures: 10 exposures per pack
- Development: Approximately 3 mins. at 70°F (21°C)

600 Films used in this project: expiry date 2005 and 2009.
Films with expiry date 2001 were tested (two different batches) and appeared to be dried up and thus unusable.

Films were used in a Polaroid SX-70 with ND filter and Polaroid 660 AF.

 

 



     
  Polaroid 664

- Type:
Peel-apart packfilm, Medium-speed, medium-contrast
- Film Speed: ISO 100/DIN 21
- Format: 3 1/4 × 4 1/4 in. (8.5 × 10.8 cm) pack film
- Image Area: 2.88 × 3.75 in. (7.3 × 9.5 cm)
- Finish: Glossy
- Exposures: 10 exposures per pack/2 packs per box
- Development: Approximately 30 secs. at 75°F (21°C)

664 Films in this project: expiry date 2009.

Films were used in a Polaroid Automatic 320.
 
 



     
  Polaroid Image Softtone

- Type:
General purpose integral film. High speed
- Format: 4 x 4.1 in. (10.2 x 10.5 cm)
- Image Area: 3.6 x 2.9 in. (9.2 x 7.3 cm)
- Finish: Glossy
- Development: Approximately 3 mins. at 70°F (21°C)

Special
The very first Special Image Blend produced in the history of Polaroid. Supported by all modern Image and Spectra cameras. This Original Polaroid Softtone film was produced in 2008 during the final production run of Polaroid film at the Impossible Project Factory in Enschede.

Films were used in a Polaroid Image System Camera.

Features a special UV filtering coat, that improves black and white tones. Special ACE Hotel Edition
